Hi everyone! Hope you’re feeling ok and staying safe wherever you are.
With Spring in full force now, I’ve found it hard to square the slowly unfolding human and economic tragedy of Covid-19 with the crystal clear, beautiful weather we’ve been having enjoying in south Jersey. The air has never been clearer, the sky never bluer—and life has never been weirder. A little reminder of how life goes on, no matter what. This juxtaposition is startling and something I’m sure I’ll remember long after life is back to its new normal many months from now.
I thought it would be nice to focus on the positive and celebrate this gorgeous weather with some spring-themed coloring pages for this week’s free downloads. The first one is from one of my favorite books, Butterfly Mandalas. It’s not my most popular book but it is what I’ll call a “fan favorite”. Folks who love it, passionately love it and I hear from them often. (Last time I checked it was also my highly rated book on Amazon—4.9 out of 5, go figure!) Creating the symmetry of the pages was a fun exercise in pattern design and I’d love to do another mandala-themed book like this someday.
The second page is from the first coloring book I ever created called Notebook Doodles Flowers. I had no idea what I was doing when I made these drawings and certainly had no idea if the books would be successful or not. But I did what I always do—poured absolutely everything I had into it and proceeded as if success was inevitable. Thankfully—thanks to you guys!—it was. ♥
Happy Spring Coloring everyone!
Be well,
Jess ♥
This week's FREE coloring pages!
Hey guys! Hope you’re holding up well. Please forgive me for completely missing last week’s pages. Time is moving rather oddly and somehow two weeks just poofed by like that. I hope my Heroes pages have been keeping you busy while I’ve been dragging my feet over here.
The last few weeks I’ve been hard at work on my upcoming Christmas coloring book and I’m not gonna lie, it’s pretty surreal to be immersed in Christmas cheer while the world is deep in corona chaos.
As hard as things are right now, there are a few faint glimmers of hope in the news—like NYC’s lowering daily hospital admission numbers—so that’s what I’m choosing to focus on right now for this week’s theme: HOPE. Please enjoy these free downloadable pages and share with a friend who could use a little positivity pick-me-up right about now.
If you’re in the market for a brand-new I-haven’t-already-colored-this-twice book, I now have advance copies of my newest book GIRL POWER! in my Etsy shop. It doesn’t become available elsewhere until May 12th, and with Amazon’s current shipping delays, the fastest way to get it might be directly from me to you. (Hint, hint—order it from me!) And if it helps to sweeten the deal, keep in mind I always include a fun surprise for everyone who orders from my shop. :)
As always, your support is so appreciated! Thank you.
Be well, stay healthy, thank a healthcare hero, and happy coloring! ♥

This week’s free pages: Color for our Heroes!
Another weird week down. Wherever you are, I hope you’re doing ok and feeling well.
This week was tough. Though cases are increasing in our county, we are fortunate things are relatively calm where we live in South Jersey. But I grew up in the Connecticut/Westchester area, outside of New York City, that has been hit so hard by Covid-19. My entire family still lives there and I worry so much about my family and friends in the NYC area. As I watch the news coming out of New York and other cities, my overwhelming feeling this week—as I’m sure it has been for many of you, too—has been one of helplessness.
But helpless doesn’t have to be hopeless.
A few days ago my sister asked if I had any Thank You coloring pages she could share with her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop to print at home, color, and send to the local hospital to let the doctors and nurses there know how much everyone is thinking of them. What a great idea! But not just for Girl Scouts—for everyone!
So here’s my homework for you: Let’s color these real-life superheroes some Thank You’s! This week, instead of just posting two pages for you guys, I’m posting eight pages of love, support, and hope that I want you to color and send/give to a healthcare worker or essential worker you love. Then color a page or two and mail them to your local hospital so we can surround our healthcare heroes with love. While most of us wait this thing out at home, our incredible healthcare workers and other essential workers are out there on the frontlines, every day, for us. Many of them don’t get to be home with their families. I cannot stop thinking about these brave people and how much they need our love, support, and gratitude right now. Let’s color their world and let them know that they are our heroes. ♥
Unlike my usual pages which I only leave up for the week, I’m going to leave these pages up, at the link below, indefinitely. Please share this link with your friends and family and let’s spread the love!!! #colorforourheroes

This week's FREE coloring pages!
Hi Friends,
So, it’s been quite a week, huh? The first few days were surreal but the heaviness of this new reality began to sink in towards the week’s end. I hope you are doing ok, feeling well, and hanging in there.
For me, as an artist, sometimes what I do can feel silly compared to people like our tireless healthcare workers who are out there risking their lives to save others. Words cannot express my admiration and gratitude for the doctors, nurses, delivery people, grocery store employees, and all the other essential workers keeping the world running right now. Sitting at my desk drawing, working on my next book, feels very small in comparison to such important work.
But I saw a quote in my Facebook feed this week that snapped me into gear: Always remember that in times like this, people turn to artists to help them through. (At least that was the vibe of it—I am kicking myself for not snapping a screenshot!)
Music, tv, movies, podcasts, video games, art, puzzles, books—these are the things that will get us through this time, apart, but together.
So it’s my job to help however I can to add a little color and positivity to your day. God knows we all need it.
Each week I’m going to post two free downloadable coloring pages to my site for you guys to print at home. My plan is to put two new ones up every Sunday evening and take down the previous two. I’ll let everyone know on Facebook and Instagram when they’re up. I hope you enjoy them and they bring a little fun, positivity, and sanity to your day. Please share this with friends so they can enjoy as well. Maybe even consider surprising a friend or family member by mailing them a colored page. I guarantee you that will make their day! :)
And If you’re like me and you have kids home with you all day, every day now (mine are 14 and 11), a little quiet coloring time can be just the sanity saver (and break from screentime!) that everyone needs.
I want you to know that my offer of help extends past my art—if you’re going a little stir crazy and you need to chat, I’m here. Send me an email or message and say Hi. With this new profound social distancing, we must not become disconnected. Maintaining a sense of positivity, however challenging, must be our priority today, tomorrow, and for the weeks to come. We will get through this crazy time—together.
After you’re done coloring, please share your colored pages on my Facebook page for everyone to enjoy, too! It would be awesome if everyone posted their colored pages in the comment of the Facebook announcement each week so everyone can see what everyone else is up to in one spot.
Take care of yourself and each other.
Be well, stay strong, & happy coloring!
Talk soon,
Jess ♥
P.S. As always, if you’re looking for new books or a gift to send a friend, you can shop at my Etsy store, TotallySuperCute for stickers, coloring books, and cards. This week my most popular item has been my box of Super Cute coloring cards (which normally doesn’t sell all that often—my stickers are much more popular). At first I was a puzzled why they were suddenly so popular, but my husband (oh, so smartly!) pointed out that they’re a great way to stay in touch with friends and family that you can’t see right now. So if you’re looking for a fun family activity, color something and then send it to a friend, loved one, or even your local hospital or nursing home. Sharing your coloring is a wonderful way to spread positivity and stay connected right now.
